Whoever said that to find the desert you must go to places far from Italy? The desert is much closer than you may think. Therefore last Friday we left for the north of Corsica where you can find the desert Des Agriates. Locked between Capo Corso and Balagna, the desert des Agriates is a hostile and mysterious area. For 35 km, the path offers different lunar horizons: catching the eye, desert mountains, and in the distance the golf of St. Florent. Nothing to disrupt the view: you can count the houses on one hand. We travel along side: the same happiness, thanks to the protection of the coastline, which are fully preserved, without any construction. Peace and quiet assured along the “guarded” passage, with its strips of coastline only a few yards wide, in some parts or even for an entire day
